As part of the acceleration and modernization of IT architectures for a major international bank, we are looking for a Production & RUN Data/AI Engineer. Within a global Data/AI team of 25 experts based in Paris and Singapore, your role will be highly technical and critical: you will be responsible for the operational maintenance (MCO), industrialization, L2 support, and optimization of distributed and highly resilient Big Data platforms, both on-premise and in the Cloud.

Your Future Environment

You will work at the heart of the global IT production department, within an international Agile squad. In constant communication with Build teams, Cloud architects, and the group's client entities worldwide, you will work in a hybrid environment (3 days a week at our client's premises in Paris, with the possibility of on-call duty outside of normal hours).

This is the ideal environment to work with cutting-edge streaming and containerization technologies (Kafka, Kubernetes, Spark, ElasticSearch), integrate advanced CI/CD pipelines, and manage the FinOps performance of a critical banking ecosystem.

Your Key Missions

L2 Support, MCO & Client Integration (RUN & SUPPORT Mode):

Major Incident, Crisis & FinOps Management (RESILIENCE & GOVERNANCE Mode):

• Support internal client entities in integrating their business projects onto Data services and ensure their continuous acculturation to the deployed technologies.
• Provide L2 operational support for global development and production environments.
• Ensure the Operational Maintenance (MCO) of the platforms: execute health checks, plan and carry out technical patching and upgrade campaigns.
• Collaborate with Build teams for the deployment of IT foundations on Cloud and containerized environments (Kubernetes).
• Actively participate in the management of major incidents and IT crises, ensuring post-crisis analysis to correct the use and lifecycle of models.
• Follow and apply Change Management processes, manage infrastructure Capacity Planning, and ensure FinOps reporting.
• Deploy and monitor monitoring tools, CI/CD delivery pipelines (GitLab, GitOps, ArgoCD), and ensure strict adherence to banking security requirements.
• Enrich, optimize, and maintain technical and operational documentation.

Our clientele primarily consists of major players in the banking, insurance, and finance sectors, for whom we mobilize rigorously selected consultants for their most strategic projects.

• Education: Engineering degree or Master's degree (Bac+5) in computer science, software engineering, Big Data, or distributed systems administration.
• Experience: You have 3 to 6 years of confirmed experience in IT production, DevOps/SecOps engineering, or Data platform administration in a large enterprise environment.
• Imperative Data & Cloud Technical Expertise:
• Solid skills in streaming and caching technologies: Kafka, NiFi, Redis, MongoDB.
• Mastery of search and processing engines: ElasticSearch, OpenSearch, Apache Spark (on-premise and cloud).
• Experience with S3 object storage and very good knowledge of Linux and Kubernetes.
• In-depth mastery of CI/CD processes and tools: GitLab, GitOps, ArgoCD.
• Solid development skills for automation and scripting: Python, Scala, Java.
• Operational Constraints & Languages:
• Fluent English is essential (daily written and oral communication with teams in Singapore and internationally).
• Availability for on-call duty (outside of normal hours) based on production requirements.
• Reactivity and Composure in Crisis Management: Ability to maintain operational rigor during major incidents in critical environments.
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills and Service Mindset: Natural ease in supporting users, communicating with Build teams, and explaining production constraints.
• Rigor and Cost Awareness (FinOps): Constant focus on resource optimization, capacity monitoring, and meeting production deployment schedules.
