DBA MongoDB Expert – Production / Critical Systems

Project overview

For one of our clients, a major player in the banking and financial sector, we are looking for an expert MongoDB DBA to work on high-stakes production environments. You will join the teams responsible for operating databases supporting critical applications, in a context where availability, performance, and security are non-negotiable.

Your missions

• Administer, operate, and maintain MongoDB databases in production
• Guarantee the high availability and resilience of clusters (Replica Sets, Sharding)
• Provide expert-level support for production incidents, root cause analysis, and action plans
• Optimize performance: indexing, queries, sizing, capacity planning
• Implement and maintain backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies
• Automate deployments and administration tasks using Ansible
• Work on hybrid on-premise and cloud environments
• Apply security requirements specific to the financial sector (access management, encryption, auditing, compliance)
• Manage version upgrades, patches, and architectural evolutions
• Write and maintain operational documentation
