DevOps Engineer + Azure

Project overview

This contract DevOps Engineer role focuses on building and supporting cloud infrastructure and application deployments on Microsoft Azure. The core requirements are hands-on Azure services, Azure DevOps CI/CD, Docker, Infrastructure as Code, Git, scripting, cloud networking and security fundamentals, and troubleshooting. Terraform or Bicep, Azure Kubernetes Service, production or client-facing environment exposure, monitoring practices, and AZ-104 or AZ-900 certification are preferred or advantageous. Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and support CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Azure container services.
• Implement cloud infrastructure based on predefined architecture and technical designs.
• Support infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, deployments, and application environments.
• Apply security, access-control, and configuration best practices across Azure environments.
• Work closely with developers, architects, and senior DevOps engineers on live client projects.
• Support deployment, release, and environment-management activities.
• Troubleshoot issues across cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in Cloud/DevOps engineering.
• Good understanding of Azure services, particularly Virtual Machines, Storage, Virtual Networks, Azure Entra ID, Azure Monitor, and Azure Key Vault.
