Project overview
Role Title: DevOps Engineer (Expert / Senior)
DevOps team responsible for the operation and ongoing development of an open-source cloud platform.
The role serves as a point of contact for product managers, product owners, the operations team, and customers; handles platform configuration; and supports application development and maintenance.
Additionally, the role optimizes development, release, and deployment cycles (automation, scaling, CI/CD) and assists with end-to-end performance testing, resource planning, and security enhancements.

Required Skills:
- Kubernetes oder vergleichbare Container-Technologien
- Scripting mit Go, Python oder Bash
- Automatisierung und automatisierte Deployments (Ansible, SaltStack, Terraform, Helm)
- CI/CD in Kubernetes-Umgebungen und Repository-Management
- Git-Automatisierung (GitHub, GitLab) mit GitHub Actions oder GitLab CI/CD
- Linux
- Monitoring und Visualisierung (Grafana, Prometheus, Instana)
- Plattform konfiguration in den Bereichen Netzwerk, Applikation und Security
- Agile Methoden und Scrum-Events
- Datenbanken wie PostgreSQL, MySQL, HANA (wünschenswert)
- Streaming und Indexing mit Kafka und Elasticsearch (wünschenswert)
