DevOps Engineer – Linux & Cloud

Project overview

You will be working at an IT service provider on technical client environments.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Managing and optimizing Linux-based enterprise environments
• Designing and maintaining infrastructure for various client environments
• Deploying container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker
• Automating configuration and management tasks using Ansible and Puppet
• Maintaining application servers, web servers, and databases
• Supporting the setup and implementation of CI/CD solutions
• Contributing to the deployment of microservices architectures and cloud technology
• Analyzing and resolving complex technical incidents and infrastructure issues
• Executing technical client projects and preparing associated documentation
• Collaborating with engineers within an Agile/DevOps environment
• Advising clients on technical innovation and improvement
• Working and thinking level at HBO/WO (University of Applied Sciences/University) level
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a role as Linux Engineer or DevOps Engineer within enterprise environments
• Practical knowledge of Linux infrastructure and technical management
• Knowledge of and experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience working with Ansible and Puppet
• Experience in independently leading technical projects
• Experience functioning within Agile/DevOps teams
• Good communication skills for discussing technical issues with clients and colleagues
