DevOps GCP – Strong Linux System Administration Focus (M/F)

Project overview

We are looking for a DevOps GCP Engineer with strong Linux system administration expertise to work on an international digital platform.

The ideal candidate ideally has an initial background in system administration, complemented by skills in Cloud environments and DevOps practices. They have a deep mastery of Linux and possess real operational experience in exploitation, operational maintenance (MCO), and incident resolution.

We are not looking for a DevOps profile exclusively focused on Kubernetes: mastery of Linux and systems is an essential prerequisite.

Main Missions

Within an agile team, in collaboration with product teams and technical referents, you will be responsible for:

Profile Sought

• Administering and operating Linux environments: configuration, monitoring, performance analysis, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
• Deploying and maintaining components and services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Automating the deployment and configuration of infrastructures using Terraform and Ansible.
• Designing, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, particularly with GitLab CI.
• Participating in operational support (RUN), operational maintenance, and production incident management.
• Implementing and improving monitoring, supervision, and alerting systems.
• Developing and maintaining automation scripts in Bash and Python.
• Ensuring the security of infrastructures and deployment chains: secret management, security controls, and environment hardening.
• Contributing to the optimization of Cloud performance and costs (FinOps).
• Writing and maintaining technical documentation for infrastructures and deployment processes.
• Linux: excellent technical mastery and recent, significant operational experience.
• GCP: good mastery of Google Cloud environments.
• System administration, operation, and operational maintenance.
• Bash and Python scripting.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform and Ansible.
• CI/CD and deployment automation.
• Diagnosis, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
• Mastery of technical English.
