Project overview
Our client, an ecommerce site, is looking for a Freelance Digital Designer to join their team; this is a part-time 20 hour per week role, through February 2027, fully remote, ideally working PST hours. The Freelance Digital Designer will: -Design digital creative for e-commerce initiatives, including homepage features, landing pages, promotional campaigns, email assets and other web-based marketing materials. -Edit and produce short-form social video content for Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube, incorporating motion graphics, animation, typography and engaging transitions.
-Adapt, resize and version creative assets across multiple digital and social platforms, ensuring consistency with brand standards and campaign objectives. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop compelling visual content that supports marketing, merchandising and business goals. -Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of creative quality and attention to detail.
The Freelance Digital Designer has: -Ideally 3+ years of digital design experience, preferably with ecommerce experience -Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects, as well as Figma. -Proven experience designing for e-commerce environments, with a strong understanding of responsive, mobile-first design principles and social media content best practices. -Experience creating both static and motion-based digital assets, with a strong eye for layout, typography and visual storytelling.
-Familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Page Designer is a plus. -Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with quick turnaround times. -Comfortable working within established brand guidelines and collaborating effectively with a fast-paced creative team.
