Distributed Production Engineer

Project overview

We are looking for several production engineers with strong Windows and Linux environment skills for a 3-month renewable mission in Paris 13th.

One of the missions has a DEVOPS focus (XLD, XLR, JENKINS) and CONTROL M scheduler, the other a focus more on JBOSS application servers.

Detailed description - Takes charge of maintaining the operational condition of hardware and software infrastructures related to Windows and Linux server operating systems

• Ensures and optimizes the functioning of infrastructures.
• Ensures the implementation of continuity solutions and participates in backup tests.
• Documents configurations and writes instructions for levels 1 and 2 support.
• May participate in infrastructure evolution studies (Design)
• Ensures engineering during the construction/installation/configuration of technical platforms within projects (BUILD)
• Carries out infrastructure installation, configuration, and validation of infrastructure components
• Coordinates, if necessary, the various technical stakeholders involved in the installation process
• May intervene directly in the qualification of IT platforms before the production phase
• Ensures the proper functioning of technical platforms (RUN)
• Guarantees the availability of technical resources
• Analyzes and corrects incidents at levels 3 and 4
• Ensures the operation of technical components and participates in their capacity planning management
• Performs diagnostics to identify causes of malfunctions and proposes corrections and workarounds
• Maintains infrastructures in operational condition with a focus on quality, productivity, and security
• Provides advice, assistance, information, training, and alerts in their area of activity
• Drives the progress and continuous improvement approach:
• Proposes innovative solutions to improve the reliability, security, and optimization of their area of activity
• Actively participates in the industrialization process
• Defines and implements good management and exploitability rules for systems or products
• Guarantees the correct level of service quality in line with Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements in their area of responsibility
