We are looking for a German-speaking Manufacturing Operator to support Drug Substance Manufacturing at a pharmaceutical site in Basel, Switzerland. The ideal candidate has experience in a GMP-regulated environment, a technical aptitude, and an understanding of manufacturing processes and routine analytical testing. Candidates must be willing to work a 24/7 shift model.

The Manufacturing Operator will support drug substance manufacturing activities in a GMP-regulated environment. The role is suited to candidates with a background in pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing, although candidates from chemical or food manufacturing may also be considered.

The client is looking for technically minded operators who can contribute beyond routine production activities, with an understanding of process monitoring, basic process control analytics, and routine analytical testing.

Experience level: No strict overall years of experience requirement. Junior candidates with a strong apprenticeship background may be considered if they demonstrate GMP knowledge, basic analytical experience, technical aptitude, and flexibility for shift work.

• Support manufacturing activities within a GMP-regulated environment.
• Monitor manufacturing processes and understand basic process control analytics.
• Perform routine analytical testing as required.
• Apply GMP principles and follow established manufacturing procedures.
• Support process monitoring and maintain an awareness of relevant manufacturing parameters.
• Contribute technical and analytical capabilities to daily manufacturing operations.
• Work according to a 24/7 shift schedule.
• Requirements
• German-speaking is mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in manufacturing.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• GMP knowledge and experience working in a regulated environment.
• Background in pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing preferred.
• Candidates from chemical or food manufacturing may also be considered.
• Basic analytical skills and an understanding of manufacturing process monitoring.
• Experience with routine analytical testing; laboratory experience is an advantage.
• Understanding of biotech manufacturing processes is beneficial.
• Technical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Willingness to work a 24/7 shift model.
• Must be authorized to work in Switzerland.
