My client is looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 CRM Functional Consultant for an initial 3 month contract (highly likely to extend) to support a major CRM & Telephony Programme within the insurance sector.

In this role, you will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for D365 Customer Service, leading the functional design, configuration, and optimization of standard platform components.

You will collaborate closely with senior business stakeholders to translate complex insurance processes into efficient, high-performing solutions that boost agent productivity and elevate the customer experience.

• Lead Functional Design: Own the functional configuration and design of Dynamics 365 Customer Service modules.
• Requirements Gathering: Analyse, challenge, and document complex business requirements into clear functional specifications.
• Hands-on Configuration: Configure core components including Case Management, Knowledge Management, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Omnichannel Queues/Routing, and Customer Service Workspace.
• Collaborative Delivery: Partner with technical consultants, architects, and developers to ensure seamless, end-to-end solution delivery.
• Testing & Deployment: Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), drive change management, deliver user training, and provide post-go-live hypercare.
• D365 Expertise: Proven track record as a Functional Consultant with a deep focus on the Dynamics 365 Customer Service application.
• Core Modules: Extensive experience implementing Case Lifecycle Management, SLAs, and Knowledge Base solutions.
• Power Platform: Solid working knowledge of the Power Platform ecosystem, specifically Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Methodologies: Strong background delivering complex projects using Agile and Waterfall frameworks.
• Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage and influence stakeholders within a fast-paced programme environment.
