Assignment description
Within the Haarvaten op Peil (HOP) program, the Vechtstromen Water Board is working to increase freshwater availability and reduce the consequences of drought on the Hoge Zandgronden in Eastern Netherlands. For the implementation of HOP, use is made of Bosgroepen Oost Nederland, among others. As a cooperative member organization, Bosgroepen has a unique position of trust with private landowners and estates in our region. Keeping Bosgroepen engaged within HOP is therefore crucial for maintaining support and the smooth realization of drought measures.
The team consists of a project leader, ecologist, cultural engineering advisor/preparer, and a GIS employee.
Function requirements
- Minimum 5 years of recent work experience as a cultural engineering advisor;
- Extensive experience with water system projects in rural areas
- A positively critical perspective and proactive attitude;
- Experience in the design, preparation, and realization phases of projects
- Experience with the "drought" problem in projects
- Experience in dealing with and conversing with stakeholders
