Hello,

We are looking for an experienced EDI Developer Analyst (4-10 years of experience) for our client based in the Paris region.

Detailed Description

Within the Applications and Flows department, you will participate in the development, evolution, and maintenance of electronic data interchange (EDI) between the company, its partners, its clients, and its suppliers.

You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of EDI flows: needs analysis, design, development, mapping, testing, production deployment, and user support.

We are looking for an experienced profile, autonomous in EDI fundamentals, with good teamwork skills, curiosity, and a proactive attitude.

Profile Definition:

ANALYSIS

Participates in the detailed functional analysis of user needs and may be involved in general specification definition workshops

Studies technological opportunities and feasibility for the application, performs technical analysis, detailed study, and contributes to workload estimation

DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT

Contributes to the design of software and frameworks used within the project Adapts and applies technical parameters of software packages or middleware Performs prototyping

Analyzes and develops components using appropriate languages

Participates in database structuring

Participates in cross-reviews of peer developments

Initializes the operational file

Assembles unit components into a coherent application package for solution deployment and integrates it into configuration management Documents applications for future development and Production Deployment (MEP)

Harmonizes and industrializes all components and applications

Uses reusable software components and updates the nomenclature

UNIT ACCEPTANCE AND INTEGRATION TESTING

Responsible for unit tests: test case development and execution

Tests, identifies, and resolves potential malfunctions of the developed software

Verifies the conformity of the work with the requested requirements

Contributes to the preparation and execution of integration tests

Analyzes results and writes the test report

MAINTENANCE

Performs developments necessary for corrective and evolutionary maintenance

Participates in the analysis and resolution of production incidents

• Design, develop, and evolve EDI interfaces.
• Perform the necessary configurations and developments for data exchange processing.
• Ensure corrective and evolutionary maintenance of existing flows.
• Participate in qualification and acceptance testing phases.
• Analyze business and technical needs.
• Design mappings between different exchange formats.
• Perform and maintain data transformations.
• Guarantee the quality, consistency, and traceability of exchanges.
• Configure and maintain EDI translators.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing flows.
• Identify and resolve transmission or transformation anomalies.
• Participate in the industrialization and optimization of processes.
• Assist business and technical teams in incident resolution.
• Participate in impact analyses during application evolutions.
• Contribute to technical documentation and development best practices.
• Be proactive in the continuous improvement of EDI solutions.
• Mastery of EDI concepts and data exchange architectures.
• Experience with main standards:
• Experience in mapping design and data transformations.
• Development in RTE language for Generix Tradexpress
• Knowledge of transfer protocols: SFTP, FTP(S), AS2, API
• SQL knowledge and database querying.
• Sensitivity to operational and flow supervision issues. Strongly appreciated bonus
• Significant experience with the TradeXpress platform and RTE language (development, mapping, administration, and operation).
• Knowledge of logistics, supply chain, or retail environments.
• Experience in managing integration or dematerialization of exchanges projects.
• Bac+2 to Bac+5 in IT.
• 3 to 7 years of experience in EDI development activities.
• Good autonomy on technical subjects.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team and interact with business stakeholders.
• Dynamic, curious, and proactive.
• Willingness to develop skills and commit long-term.
