For Waterschap Hollandse Delta, we are looking for an Electrical Engineering Advisor for an average of 24 hours per week. For the New Construction Sludge Digestion Dordrecht (SVB Dordrecht) project, one of the largest investment projects of Waterschap Hollandse Delta, specialist electrical engineering expertise is sought.

Within this assignment, you will advise on electrical engineering issues and provide substantive contributions to design, realization, risk management, and technical decision-making.

The assignment location is Ridderkerk. The applicant is free to perform the tasks hybrid where possible. Waterschap Hollandse Delta expects partial physical presence due to scope discussions and various progress meetings.

• Advising on electrical engineering issues within the project.
• Reviewing designs and technical solutions.
• Identifying technical risks and opportunities.
• Providing specialist expertise for design and realization issues.
• Participating in project meetings to coordinate technical aspects.
• Auditing designs against applicable laws and regulations, standards, and guidelines.
• Electrical engineering advice for design decisions for the SVB Dordrecht project.
• Technical risk analyses and management measures for the project.
• Reviews of design documents from engineering firms and contractors.
• Advice on feasibility, maintainability, and lifecycle costs.
• Technical input for Systems Engineering products and verification processes.
• Advisory reports focused on sustainability, replacement tasks, and innovation.
• Written advice to support the Technical Manager and project organization.

• Available from November 23, 2026, for the expected hours: 15 points
• Available within two weeks of the requested start date: 7.5 points
• Not available within two weeks: 0 points
• Minimum HBO work and thinking level: 10 points
• More than 10 years of experience in a similar assignment: 30 points
• Between 7 and 10 years of experience: 25 points
• Less experience: 0 points
• Water sector, process industry, or infrastructure.
• Installation, management, and replacement of industrial automation is a plus.
• Systems Engineering.
