Electrical Fitter Low and Medium Voltage (LV/MV)

Please note! This assignment is open to freelancers (ZZP'ers). A performance obligation will be established at the start of the assignment. For a national grid operator, we are looking for an Electrical Fitter Low and Medium Voltage (LV/MV).

Assignment Description

As an LV/MV Electrical Fitter, you are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of low and medium voltage networks in the Amsterdam region. You will work within a department focused on maintenance and troubleshooting of the energy infrastructure. The work takes place primarily outdoors and ranges from repairing damaged electricity cables to realizing new low-voltage networks for residential areas. You will also work on transformer stations and public lighting. You will perform switching operations and check if installations are functioning correctly.

Depending on the tasks, you will work independently or together with other electrical fitters. You will also supervise trainees during the execution of tasks. You will depart from home with a company van to the planned work locations within your work area.

Planning

• Install and maintain low and medium voltage networks.
• Locate and resolve faults in electricity networks.
• Repair damaged electricity cables, including after excavation work.
• Perform work on transformer stations and public lighting.
• Perform switching operations within the electricity grid.
• Test and check electrical installations.
• Install low-voltage networks for new residential areas.
• Supervise trainees.
• You have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in electrical engineering.
• You possess a valid BEI certificate AVP LS + VP MS.
• You have demonstrable experience with performing switching operations.
• You possess a B driver's license.
• A degree in electrical engineering, preferably focused on low and medium voltage.
• Start: As soon as possible
• Duration: 1 year, with an option to extend
• Hours: 32–40 hours per week
• Location: Amsterdam Region
• Structure: Freelance (ZZP) possible, with a performance obligation upon commencement
• Closing date: November 13, 2026, at 5:00 PM --> closes earlier with sufficient introductions
• Selection: CVs are assessed on an ongoing basis.
• Submission: CVs must be submitted in Dutch.
