Employability Coach (interim)

Project overview

The employability coach supports complex absenteeism cases within the IND.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Supporting line managers and HR advisors in complex long-term absenteeism cases according to the Poortwachter Improvement Act
• Advising, solicited and unsolicited, on the deployment of the right expertise for recovery and return to work
• Collaborating with internal and external absenteeism experts
• Participating in absenteeism meetings and monitoring follow-up of actions
• Breaking through stalled situations by taking charge together with advisors
• Guiding employees in their absenteeism process and concretizing next steps
• Guiding employees to suitable positions within or outside the organization when returning to their own work is not possible
• Supporting employees in dealing with resistance and necessary behavioral change
• Identifying structural bottlenecks and proposing improvements
• Contributing to increasing knowledge and skills of line management in the area of case management
• Bachelor's degree in HR and/or Business Administration
• Completed CROV training (absenteeism case manager/management of absenteeism)
• 5 years of work experience as an absenteeism and/or employability coach
• 5 years of work experience within the public sector (preferred)
