Jobbeschreibung
Stedin is looking for an Intake Employee to contribute to the energy transition by ensuring the accuracy of processes related to energy connections, contracts, and billing. This role involves analyzing issues, resolving discrepancies, and communicating with customers.
Project overview
Stedin is looking for an Intake Employee. (ZZP NOT POSSIBLE) Indicative hourly rate is €50,- all-in, ex VAT.
Your energy in the plus
As an Intake Employee, you directly contribute to the energy transition: behind every connection that makes the Netherlands more sustainable, there is a process that works thanks to you.
Why working at Stedin gives you energy.
Work you can be proud of
Millions of people rely on energy every day. Behind that supply is a complex process of connections, contracts, billing, and customer data. Behind every new connection that enables the energy transition, there is a process that must be correct. You get energy from investigating, analyzing, and solving issues, ensuring that connections, contracts, and billing align seamlessly. With this, you make a visible contribution to the energy transition and to a future-proof energy grid.
Together with your colleagues, you ensure that customers are linked to the correct energy contracts and that the administrative processes surrounding them are carefully executed. You investigate missing or incorrect data, liaise with customers, and process information in various systems. This prevents incorrect billing and directly contributes to Stedin's financial health.
What makes this role special is that you will learn the entire process: from a new connection to the energy grid to the final billing. This gives you insight into a crucial part of the energy chain and you see every day how your work makes an impact.
This is what your day looks like
You start the day with the team and discuss ongoing activities. Then you get to work on notifications that come in from various systems. You investigate customer data, check information, and retrieve missing data when necessary. Approximately 40% of your time is spent on customer contact. You answer questions, handle objections, and help customers further via phone and email. The remaining time is focused on administrative tasks, analyses, and processing data in various systems.
In addition, you continuously look for ways to make processes smarter. Because the team is fully engaged in digitalization, automation, and robotization, you will have the opportunity to propose improvements and contribute to more efficient ways of working.
Full speed ahead with the Intake team
The Intake team is part of Business Support Services (BSS). If you come to work with us, you will join a results-oriented team. Doers with a good sense of humor and who speak their mind. We are pragmatic and want to make progress every day. The BSS, and certainly the Intake team, is continuously digitizing and automating. We are also robotizing processes. The more successful we are in this, the more efficient and cost-effective our services become. For you as an employee, this offers many benefits, as you gain more independence, responsibility, decision-making authority, and autonomy in your work.
And you develop broadly, making you deployable in multiple areas.
With these skills, you will grow further
You like structure, but you also enjoy figuring out how things really work. You can switch between different systems, work accurately, and remain calm when a lot of information comes at you simultaneously. Furthermore, you bring:
- You immediately see the result of your work and its impact on the organization.
- An inclusive work environment where diversity of perspective is valued.
- Collaboration in a professional, small, and close-knit team.
- You can get to the core of a question or problem in conversations, even if information is incomplete or contradictory.
- You recognize deviations in data and processes, investigate their origin, and arrive at a solution that works in the long term.
- You easily switch between different systems, understand the coherence between data, and use that information to make well-founded choices.
- You listen attentively, ask clarifying questions when information is missing, and clearly communicate what customers and colleagues can expect from each other, even in difficult conversations.
- You recognize when data, processes, or information do not logically align, investigate the cause, and arrive at a solution that looks beyond the short term.
- You use data from various sources to substantiate choices, see opportunities to streamline processes, and translate insights into concrete improvements.
- You take responsibility for the quality of your work, maintain an overview of multiple cases simultaneously, and work purposefully towards correct and timely completion.
