Assignment Description

As an Endevor Administrator, you are responsible for the setup, management, and maintenance of Broadcom Endevor. This is a critical Software Configuration Management (SCM) tool within IBM mainframe environments (z/OS). The administrator ensures that developers can securely build, test, and patch code without interfering with each other.

Background of the assignment

Generic Support Services (GOS) is responsible for ensuring that other IT professionals at IV can develop and manage software faster, cheaper, better, and easier by simplifying, standardizing, and automating software development processes and tools. The professionals in IT development are central to us. We strive for professionals in IT development to want to use our services of their own accord through the value we create and the ease of use.

The Mainframe SDP teams are responsible for the support services for the IT professionals who carry out their development work in the mainframe environment.

• Installing, configuring, upgrading, and maintaining Endevor components and environments, systems, subsystems, types, and processors;
• Package handling and package shipment;
• Security management via ESI/RACF;
• Housekeeping: backup, recovery;
• Monitoring the service, resolving incidents;
• Providing training and advice, especially to users of our solutions
• Maintaining contact with the vendor (regarding (security) updates, fixes, etc.)

Requirements

Only Dutch-language CVs to be submitted, and candidates must speak Dutch perfectly. Assignment is not suitable for ZZP'ers due to DBA law.

Additional Information

When you, as a supplier, offer a professional to us and they are placed, we will need information from you as a contracting party, including regarding the Chain Liability Act (Wet keten- en inlenersaansprakelijkheid).

The 'WKA' aims to prevent abuse in the remittance of payroll taxes at all links in the chain; from supplier to client. We cover these risks for our clients through a blocked account, the G-rekening. This is an account to which a portion of the invoice amount is deposited and from which you can pay payroll taxes and VAT to the Tax Authorities. The percentage to be deposited depends on whether you have SNA certification (NEN-4400-1 or NEN-4400-2) and whether your company is located in the Netherlands or abroad. You can apply for the G-rekening from the Tax Authorities.

If you cannot obtain a G-rekening (and you can provide proof of this from the Tax Authorities), you also have the option to provide an accountant's statement (assurance report regarding personnel lending) every quarter. In this, a certified accountant (AA or RA) will issue a statement about the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the remittances. Please note that the costs for this statement are at your own expense.

• Knowledge and experience in setting up, developing, and maintaining development pipelines (Software Development Platforms) on the IBM mainframe.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile development (possibly SAFe)
• Demonstrable experience as an Endevor Administrator
• Extensive practical experience with the management of Broadcom Endevor SCM, including environments, processors, packages, and exits
• Knowledge of the mainframe operating system Z/OS, including dataset management (PDS, PDSE, VSAM)
• Proficiency in JCL, TSO/ISPF, and utilities such as IDCAMS, ADRDSSU, and IEBCOPY
• Familiarity with COBOL, DB2, CICS
• Especially compile/link-edit processes
• Experience with REXX, CLIST to automate administrator tasks
• Experience with RACF, Zsecure
• Ability to analyze logs, dumps, and diagnostic data.
