As an equipment manager, you ensure that safety comes first and that our colleagues go out with approved tools and the right clothing and personal protective equipment.

You work closely with your direct colleagues in the departments but also have frequent contact with suppliers.

This is how you take on this challenge

You ensure an up-to-date equipment inventory: inspecting, calibrating, and managing with the aim of complying with legal requirements and safe working practices regarding tools, clothing, personal protective equipment, and transport.

These are your responsibilities and tasks

As an Equipment Manager, you coordinate, plan, and monitor the internal and outsourced inspections of all equipment for your entire location. You maintain close contact with external parties responsible for calibration and inspections.

In addition to monitoring the quality and timely execution of inspections, you will perform inspections yourself.

You ensure flawless administration of incoming, stored, and outgoing equipment and tools. You regularly report on the progress of calibrations and inspections and keep the system for managing measuring instruments and tools up-to-date.

You ensure good stock management of materials and emergency supplies at Equipment Management.

You arrange the purchase of assets, clothing, company vehicles, and other means of transport and communicate about this with management and suppliers if necessary.

You are independent, proactive, flexible, and stress-resistant. You are good at organizing your own work, you are responsible and show ownership. You are also good at setting priorities and organizing, you are verbally and in writing communicatively skilled, and you are quality-oriented and demonstrate safety behavior at level 4.

You have:

MBO Level 4, preferably in a technical direction;

Affinity and knowledge of equipment, preferably both electrical and gas related;

NEN 3140 (inspection of work equipment) and NEN 2484 (inspection of stairs and ladders) or are willing to obtain them;

Strong social skills.

You will work in the realization department in Venlo. Here you will form a team with, among others, work planners, equipment managers, and company administration employees. A team with a lot of experience where an open culture prevails, in which giving and receiving feedback is important, where humor plays a role, and where everyone shows ownership. The team is continuously working on improving its activities, and a new vision and perspective are certainly welcome. The team focuses on communication, providing good backup for colleagues, sharing knowledge, and gaining insight into each other's work.
