As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end sourcing process and implementing category strategies for a range of goods and services. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive value, optimise procurement processes, and deliver commercial benefits.

• Contract Length: 12 Months
• Location: TW6 2JS (3 days onsite)
• Pay: attractive daily rate (Inside IR35)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Lead end-to-end sourcing and tendering activities across assigned categories.
• Implement category strategies and sourcing plans.
• Prepare and manage RFP/RFQ processes, including supplier selection and evaluation.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contractual agreements with suppliers.
• Support contract drafting and review in collaboration with legal teams.
• Provide procurement governance and guidance on external spend.
• Work with stakeholders to standardise specifications and improve procurement outcomes.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, supplier rationalisation, and risk mitigation.
• Deliver commercial insights and market intelligence to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective procurement delivery.
• Build and maintain strong supplier and stakeholder relationships globally.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management.
• Strong track record of supplier negotiations in a multinational environment.
• Experience drafting and reviewing commercial contracts.
• Excellent commercial awareness and financial acumen.
• Ability to analyse complex information and make sound business decisions.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and service excellence.
• Strong communication skills in English; additional language skills are advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively within a global, multicultural environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage procurement projects from sourcing through to contract award.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Comfortable operating in environments with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Willingness to travel when required.
