Project overview

Context

As part of accelerating its cloud transformation, a major group wishes to strengthen its Azure expertise to support an Experienced DevOps engineer in the design, construction, and industrialization of its cloud foundations. The mission is mainly run-oriented, with structuring challenges around the evolution of the Landing Zone, FinOps, Azure AI Foundry, Azure Virtual Desktop, and the creation of a cloud DMZ.

It also includes a component of skills transfer and autonomy building, as well as a contribution to the run of Azure environments and on-premises infrastructures to ensure service continuity in a hybrid context.

• Support an Experienced DevOps engineer in the definition, construction, and industrialization of Azure Cloud services, with a focus on skills transfer and autonomy building
• Evolve the Azure Landing Zone from a "Start Small and Expand" approach to an "Enterprise Scale" model, then integrate or reintegrate existing resources within this governance framework
• Define and implement FinOps practices: cost allocation, budgets, alerts, consumption monitoring, resource optimization, and rationalization recommendations
• Design and industrialize the necessary foundations for artificial intelligence use cases in Azure AI Foundry, in coordination with security, data, and application teams
• Design, deploy, and evolve the Azure Virtual Desktop platform, including images, profiles, access rules, performance, monitoring, and capacity
• Implement and administer Azure network and security components, including Azure Firewall, filtering rules, routing, logging, and interconnection with the hybrid information system
• Design and create a secure, documented, and operational cloud DMZ, compliant with the group's architecture and cybersecurity standards
• Industrialize deployments and configuration using Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices, using Terraform, PowerShell, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure the run of Azure environments and contribute to the operation of on-premises infrastructures: incident management, changes, updates, operational maintenance, and continuous improvement in a hybrid context
• Confirmed expertise in Microsoft Azure: architecture, governance, Landing Zone, network, security, identity, and operations
• Mastery of Terraform, PowerShell, Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines to automate and industrialize deployments
• Hands-on experience with FinOps, Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Firewall, and cloud DMZ architectures; knowledge of Azure AI Foundry highly appreciated
• Solid experience with hybrid infrastructures and their operation: Active Directory, Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, networking, security, monitoring, and incident management
• Estimated duration: 6 months, renewable
• Mode: Full-time, on-site at the group's headquarters in Paris 9, with some remote work possible (minimum 3 days on-site per week)
• Profile sought: senior, autonomous, pragmatic, good communicator, with a strong sense of service and capable of transferring knowledge. An Azure, DevOps, Terraform, or FinOps certification is a plus
