Context and challenges
A company in the gaming and betting sector is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to design steering tools (dashboards, indicators) and perform ad hoc analyses (descriptive, trend) to support decision-making on business choices and risk management. Close collaboration with business departments: Finance, Marketing, Sales, Trading, Risk, Responsible Gaming, and Operations (Customer Service, Fraud, Payments). Data ecosystem: daily work with Data Project Managers (functional scoping) and Analytics Engineers (data modeling and provision).
Missions
- Exploit decision-making data: query and combine data from the Data Warehouse and Datamarts to structure reliable and performant datasets for BI and analyses.
- Design steering tools: develop, automate, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and KPIs for business teams.
- Advanced and exploratory analysis: descriptive statistics and ad hoc analyses to identify trends and explain activity variations.
- Reporting: synthesize and present results to management and business units (PowerPoint, decision-making support).
- Governance and security: compliance with security, confidentiality, and data protection processes (GDPR, internal rules).
