Project overview

Context

Long-term mission, based in Lille (hybrid). Within an engineering team dedicated to supply chain, the scope covers ensuring the effectiveness of sales forecasting, purchasing, and stock allocation tools. The mission revolves around: SAP ECC R/3 to S/4HANA migration; study and preparation for SAP APO replacement (to IBP or equivalent solution); continuous improvement projects and technical debt reduction.

Technical Environment:

• SAP: SAP ECC 6.0 R/3 and FMS
• target S4HANA
• SAP APO (DP / SNP, CIF interfaces)
• Frontend & integrations: React, SAP Fiori / UI5, specific ABAP, ALE, IDocs, Web Services, Kafka, APIs
• Collaborative tools & methodology: Jira Software, ChaRM, Squash (testing)
• Acceleration & AI tools: strong appetite and ease required with modern tooling (GitHub Copilot, generative AI, SAP Joule)

Working Conditions

• Organize, lead, and monitor technical and functional design workshops with development teams and business experts
• Knowledge of SAP standard: customization
• Write specifications and detailed technical specifications based on the analysis of operational needs
• Perform technical analysis of flows (no pure development expected) and perform debugging
• Contribute to impact studies for S/4HANA migration and APO replacement; identify and address technical debt
• Write test cases, perform unit and end-to-end integration tests
• Coordinate the deployment of evolutions and ensure knowledge transfer to N3 support teams (P2P)
