• Collaborate closely with project management, development teams, business analysts, and business stakeholders.

• Contribute, depending on project needs and skills, to the design, development, maintenance, and execution of automated tests.
• Promote and facilitate testing activities in projects and within the department.
• Participate in the Test Managers community to share best practices and contribute to the evolution of standards and tooling.
• Intervene as a tester if necessary: prepare and execute tests, detect, qualify, document, and track anomalies, test fixes, and ensure traceability between requirements, risks, and tests.
• Higher education degree in IT (University Master's, EPF Engineering degree, HES degree) or equivalent.
• Certification in testing profession (e.g., ISTQB).
• Optional: certification in agile (e.g., Scrum Master / Product Owner).
• 5+ years of experience in test management in an agile context.
• Good command of Jira Xray.
• Good command of an agile project management methodology (e.g., Scrum).
• Ability to define, manage, and enforce a test strategy.
• Ability to contribute to test automation activities within projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively, negotiate, and make decisions with management and stakeholders.
• Ability to support and coach testers.
• Good command of OpenText Application Quality Management (formerly HP ALM).
• Ability to analyze risks related to projects and digital services.
• Ability to define a test automation strategy and collaborate with automation engineers.
• Practice of at least one test automation tool or framework (Tosca, Robot Framework, Playwright, or equivalent).
• Experience in implementing quality processes and standards.
• Knowledge and ability to leverage artificial intelligence techniques to optimize testing activities.

Nice to have

Required Qualities:

• Mastery of the Behavior Driven Development (BDD) method.
• ISTQB Test Manager, Scrum Master, or Product Owner certification.
• Knowledge of HERMES, RUP, ITIL methodologies.
• Successful experience within a public administration.
• Experience with Tricentis Tosca, Robot Framework, or Playwright.
• Skills in coaching and training test teams.
• Ability to promote and disseminate best testing practices.

Job Description and Context:

We are looking for an experienced Test Manager for a client, a public administration in Geneva, to strengthen its test center. This center ensures the quality, compliance, and risk management of digital services throughout their lifecycle, and defines, tools, and evolves testing practices.

The selected person will work on one or more internal and/or external projects, conducted using agile or traditional methodologies. They will define the test strategy, manage its implementation, and participate in the preparation and execution of tests. Depending on needs, they will also contribute to test automation and, within the Test Managers community, to the continuous improvement of practices. Long-term assignment (up to 5 years).
