As part of a mission within the IT department of a large group, we are looking for an Expert Solutions Architect to support the transformation of software engineering practices.

The consultant will work transversally with IT teams to define and promote Software Engineering standards, assess product maturity, and implement concrete improvement plans.

We are looking for a senior profile with genuine experience in transforming software engineering practices at the IT department level.

The candidate must demonstrate their ability to operate beyond project or product architecture, with a real transversal, strategic, and operational dimension.

Professional English is essential.

• Conduct architecture reviews and support teams in designing robust and scalable solutions.
• Define, structure, and lead Software Engineering standards across the IT department.
• Audit the software maturity of IT products and identify areas for improvement.
• Build and manage improvement plans tailored to team needs.
• Support Tech Leaders and developers in adopting best practices.
• Foster an expertise community around architecture and software quality.
• Contribute to the framework for integrating artificial intelligence into the SDLC.
• Produce and maintain architecture documentation.
• Solutions Architecture: proven experience in design and architecture reviews.
• Java / J2EE: strong technical expertise.
• Software Engineering: mastery of ADRs, Design Patterns, Software Quality, and Release Management.
• Engineering Metrics: knowledge of the 4 Key Metrics.
• C4 Model: essential mastery.
• SDLC & AI: ability to support thinking on integrating AI into the software development lifecycle.
• Architecture documents.
• Architecture Decision Records (ADR).
• Software maturity audits.
• Improvement plans and operational recommendations.
• Technical assistance contract.
• On-site presence: 3 days per week.
• No travel or on-call duties planned.
