A leading software and enterprise technology group is looking for an experienced Interim Finance & Systems Business Analyst to support their Enterprise Applications programme.

In this role, you will act as the core operational link connecting Finance, Go-To-Market/Sales, and Enterprise IT. The primary focus is optimising a recent Deal Configurator/CPQ implementation, mapping end-to-end sales-to-finance processes, and ensuring commercial pricing workflows align directly with IFRS 15 revenue recognition standards and ledger integrations.

• Cross-Functional Business Analysis: Facilitate workshops and process-mapping sessions across Sales, GTM, Finance, and Enterprise IT teams to document current-state bottlenecks and future-state requirements.
• Deal Configurator & CPQ Workflows: Define and refine system requirements for the Deal Configurator, ensuring quotes, contracts, and pricing structures feed seamlessly into downstream finance systems.
• Accounting & IFRS 15 Alignment: Ensure sales workflows and deal structures comply with revenue recognition rules (IFRS 15) and billing schedules.
• Agile Requirements Delivery: Translate operational needs into high-quality user stories, process maps, and solution designs; manage backlogs and support sprint ceremonies.
• Integrations & Data Flows: Document data flows, APIs, and interfaces between CRM/Sales tooling (eg, Salesforce), the configurator, and Back End finance/ERP ledgers.
• Business Readiness & UAT: Support user acceptance testing, training, and cutover activities to improve the efficiency of both sales and finance operations.
• Proven track record as a Business Analyst delivering finance systems transformation, ERP implementations, or CPQ/Deal Configurator rollouts.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end sales, pricing, and order-to-cash workflows, coupled with a good working knowledge of IFRS 15 revenue recognition.
• Hands-on experience capturing functional and non-functional requirements and user stories within Agile delivery frameworks.
• Strong commercial acumen and confidence collaborating with both technical IT developers and commercial/finance stakeholders.
• Experience with CRM/sales tooling (eg, Salesforce), APIs/system integrations, data reconciliation, or reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau).
