Finance Process Consultant – AI & Automation

Project overview

We are looking for a pragmatic Finance Process Consultant with experience in business process improvement, automation, and AI-enabled workflows. The consultant will support the finance organization in identifying opportunities to streamline processes, implement practical AI-supported solutions, and drive efficiency improvements across key finance functions.

This role is focused on applying AI and automation in business processes through no-code and low-code platforms rather than software development or AI engineering.

• Identify automation and AI opportunities across finance processes, including financial close, reporting, controlling, and FP&A.
• Analyze and optimize existing finance workflows and business processes.
• Configure and implement AI-enabled workflows using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, or similar no-code/low-code solutions.
• Build and test proofs of concept to validate business value.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize initiatives.
• Support the development of a practical roadmap for Finance process automation and AI adoption.
• Drive adoption of new ways of working and support business users throughout implementation.
• Background in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, FP&A, or Finance Transformation.
• Experience working with finance processes and reporting environments.
• Experience in process improvement, digitalization, automation, or business transformation initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, or similar no-code/low-code platforms.
• Ability to translate business challenges into practical automation solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar.
• Familiarity with Power Query and data analysis tools.
• Exposure to AI-supported business processes and workflow automation within Finance.
• Experience working in international organizations.
