Forward Deployed Engineer (Physical AI/Edge AI)
6 month contract (extensions likely)
Remote (EEA) - (travel to client sites across Europe)
Market Rate
We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (Physical AI/Edge AI) to design, deploy, and scale AI-powered solutions.
You will work closely with customers, engineering teams, and solution architects to develop production-grade Physical AI applications leveraging cameras, LiDAR, drones, robotics, and edge computing platforms.
Technical Skills
Preferred Experience
- Computer Vision: OpenCV, Object Detection, Video Analytics
- Machine Learning: PyTorch/TensorFlow
- Edge AI/Embedded ML: NVIDIA Jetson, TensorRT, ONNX
- Robotics: ROS/ROS2, SLAM
- Industrial IoT and Sensor Integration: Camera, LiDAR, Sensor Fusion, Telemetry
- Programming: Python and C++
- Digital Twins & Simulation (NVIDIA Omniverse, Isaac Sim)
- Architecture: Edge-to-Cloud deployment
- Industrial Automation and Manufacturing Systems (PLC, SCADA, OPC-UA, MQTT)
- Manufacturing, Steel, Mining, Energy, or Industrial Automation sectors
- Robotic vision systems, drones, or autonomous systems
- MLOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure AI
