We are currently looking for an Apache Cassandra Expert / Production Stabilization Specialist for a 6-month mission, starting ASAP.
🎯 Your Mission:
You will work alongside the existing Operations team on a business-critical Cassandra production environment.
Your objective: stabilize the platform, analyze and resolve recurring P1 incidents, identify root causes, and implement necessary corrective actions.
🔎 Skills Sought:
Solid expertise in Apache Cassandra administration and architecture.
Deployment, configuration, and performance optimization of Cassandra.
Management of critical production incidents (P1) and advanced troubleshooting.
JVM diagnostics, Java Heap, and memory issues.
Mastery of cluster topology: Nodes, Racks, Data Centers, storage, and capacity.
Performing root cause analyses (RCA).
Implementation of remediation plans and configuration optimization.
Supervision, monitoring, and improvement of production operations.
Ability to transfer knowledge to the existing Support team.
