Assignment Description

The Judicial Information Service (Justid) ensures that crucial information is available at the right time for the right person. In the fight for a more just and safe society, Justid helps with a broad package of services and solutions.

For the development of a new facility for the Matching Authority of Justid, Justid is looking for a frontend developer with knowledge of UX design. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team.

Background of Assignment

The Matching Authority of the Judicial Information Service is responsible within the criminal justice chain for establishing the Leading Administrative Identity, acting on significant deviations in someone's identity data, and actively informing the chain about this. We want to provide the Matching Authority with improved integral digital information provision for carrying out the various work processes.

• You will develop the existing UX design into a design that serves as the basis for the further setup of the renewed front-end for the employees of the Matching Authority.
• You will create the frontend software for handling the various actions in the Identity Verification of suspects and convicts, focusing on designing, coding, and assembling the product. You will shape this by applying our coding standards, daily measuring code quality, building secure software, and documenting solutions. The tasks you undertake will follow the prioritized backlog.
• If necessary, you will assist with backend development. This concerns the basic functionality that ensures frontend and backend connect well. A backend developer within the team is responsible for the integral development of the backend.
• You will participate in the refinement of user stories on the backlog and translating them into technical solutions so they are ready to be included in a sprint.
• You will think and work along with writing and executing functional and production tests.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable work experience as a front-end developer with Angular in a scrum team.

Demonstrably designed at least 2 Angular applications, including determining the component structure, setting up the frontend architecture, and participating in the realization and implementation of these applications. This must be evident from the CV, mentioning the applications, the role, and the design work performed.

Minimum of 3 years of experience with Angular and TypeScript, HTML, CSS.

You have a completed relevant education or demonstrate through work experience that you have the necessary level and knowledge. (5 years)

You have demonstrable knowledge and experience with various development techniques, but you master Angular like no other. (5 years)

You have experience in Agile/scrum teams, minimum size of 6 people, gained at larger companies, public or private (100+ FTE), within at least 3 different projects as part of larger IT programs. (5 years)

Experience with 'continuous integration' and 'continuous delivery' via Jenkins, GIT, IntelliJ and/or Nexus is a pré. (3 years)

You have a completed relevant education or demonstrate through work experience that you have the necessary level and knowledge.

You have knowledge of the migration chain and the standards used within it.

You have several years of experience as a developer.

The project approach is based on an Agile methodology. Knowledge and experience working in an Agile environment is therefore a pré.

Continuous delivery engineering practices are central to designing, building, testing, and deploying applications. You therefore have thorough knowledge of coding conventions, test-driven development, continuous integration, deployment, and continuous improvement.

Hybrid working is possible. Generally, there is a 50/50 policy, and deviations are possible in consultation.

Additional Information

When you, as a supplier, offer a professional to us and they are placed, we will need information from you as a contracting party, including regarding the Chain Liability Act (Wet keten- en inlenersaansprakelijkheid). The 'WKA' aims to prevent abuse in the remittance of payroll taxes at all links in the chain; from supplier to client. We cover these risks for our clients by means of a blocked account, the G-account. This is an account to which a portion of the invoice amount is deposited and from which you can pay payroll taxes and VAT to the Tax Authorities.

The percentage to be deposited depends on whether you have a SNA certification (NEN-4400-1 or NEN-4400-2) and whether your company is based in the Netherlands or abroad. You can apply for the G-account from the Tax Authorities. If you cannot obtain a G-account (and you can provide proof of this from the Tax Authorities), you also have the option to provide an accountant's statement (assurance report regarding personnel lending) every quarter. In this, a certified accountant (AA or RA) will issue a statement about the correctness, completeness, and timeliness of the remittances.
