Full Stack Developer ASP.NET Web API REST - Angular

Project overview

Context

The consultant will be responsible for rewriting an existing ASP.NET SharePoint application to a target ASP.NET Web API architecture, with a strong existing WCF SOAP presence. The target user interface will be developed in Angular.

The consultant must be able to reverse engineer the existing application and adapt the UIs in Angular.

Proven experience in web development with internet exposure is required, including a good understanding of possible web application vulnerabilities.

The consultant will work within a Distribution Technology organization, liaising with the project team, other development teams, application production teams (English required), API teams, and occasionally security teams.

Missions

Rewrite an existing ASP.NET SharePoint application to ASP.NET Web API, WCF SOAP, and Angular

Be proactive in technological choices, particularly regarding REST/SOAP APIs

Perform technical design and development of interfaces and services

Develop, document, and test the technical functionalities of the application

Provide technical support and fix anomalies reported by users

Develop front and back-office layers, including data calls (CRUD)

Communicate with offshore application production teams (English required)

Profile Sought

Minimum 9 years of experience in Web development

Solid experience in ASP.NET Web API (.NET Framework) and WCF SOAP

Good command of Angular (version upgrades / reverse engineering of existing UIs)

Proven experience with web applications exposed on the Internet, with an awareness of application vulnerabilities

Professional English required (communication with offshore teams)
