Project overview
Full Stack Engineer (Java/React) | London, 2-3 days onsite | Up to £540p/day Inside IR35 | 6 month contract
I'm working with a global capital markets business that's modernising its core enterprise platforms, and they need an experienced Full Stack Engineer to help build what comes next.
This is true end-to-end work: Java and Spring Boot microservices on the back end, React and TypeScript on the front, all running in a cloud-native setup.

- Designing and building scalable, high-performance applications across the full stack
- Building and integrating RESTful APIs between React front ends and Back End microservices
- Helping move Legacy enterprise platforms onto modern cloud-native architecture
- Owning complex problems end to end, with security built in from the start
- 7+ years in full stack development with strong Java, Spring Boot and React
- Experience in capital markets or similar enterprise-scale financial environments
- Solid SQL and hands-on cloud experience (GCP a bonus)
- A self-starter who's comfortable working through ambiguity
