FULLSTACK DEVELOPER (back-end focus)

Project overview

Our client, an international player with a demanding technological environment, is looking for a Fullstack Developer with a back-end focus to strengthen a team responsible for the development and maintenance of high-volume digital platforms and services.

You will work on large-scale applications requiring high levels of availability, performance, and robustness.

The technical environment is based on a Cloud-native architecture, primarily around AWS (RDS, EKS, Route 53), with infrastructures capable of adapting to activity variations and load peaks.

The position combines Back-end Java/Spring expertise with Front-end Angular development, within a highly scalable Kubernetes environment.

MAIN MISSION

As a Fullstack Developer, you will contribute to ensuring the quality, performance, security, and robustness of application services across the entire technical chain.

You will be responsible for structural developments, participate in design choices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of architectures and development practices.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

• Design and develop end-to-end application evolutions: Back-end APIs (Java/Spring) and Front-end interfaces (Angular).
• Handle complex developments: business logic, performance, security, and integration.
• Integrate scalability constraints (stateless, session management, database performance) and Kubernetes operation.
• Use artificial intelligence tools applied to development (co-pilots, code generation, assisted code review, documentation), while maintaining control over technical choices.
• Participate in code reviews and promote Clean Code and software design best practices.
• Analyze the technical feasibility of requests: user stories, evolutions, and new projects.
• Participate in defining architectures and conducting POCs.
• Challenge requirements and propose solutions adapted to distributed and scalable environments.
• Contribute to technical estimations and the identification of risks related to performance, scaling, and resilience.
• Apply security best practices from the design phase (Security by Design) and adhere to architecture and development standards.
• Contribute to the preparation and validation of delivery packages: containers, dependencies, database scripts, Front-end assets, and configurations.
• Integrate quality tools (Sonar, automated tests, security scans) into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with Ops teams for application operations on Kubernetes.
• Analyze production incidents and participate in defining corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor service performance, scaling, and stability: autoscaling, resource management, and response times.
• Contribute to deployments and post-production monitoring.
• Mastery of Java 17+ and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security).
• Good knowledge of Hibernate/JPA.
• Knowledge of Clean Architecture principles and microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with architecture patterns: Orchestrator Pattern, SAGA.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.
• Appreciated knowledge of schema management and migration tools (Liquibase or equivalent).
• Mastery of REST architectures: design, versioning, performance.
• Knowledge of OpenAPI, Swagger, and JAX-RS (Jersey).
• Good knowledge of security mechanisms: OAuth2, OIDC, authentication, and authorization management.
• Good level in Angular and TypeScript.
• Mastery of HTML5/CSS3 fundamentals.
• Knowledge of RxJS, state management, and REST API consumption.
• Sensitivity to user experience, Front-end performance optimization, and Green IT principles.
• Experience with containerized environments using Docker.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s) is highly appreciated.
• Understanding of horizontal scalability, resilience, and observability challenges.
• Practice with tools like Maven, Gradle, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Sonar, and Git.
• Knowledge of industrialization tools (Ansible or equivalent).
• Experience with an AWS Cloud environment or equivalent is appreciated.
• Practice with JUnit, Mockito, and API testing (REST-assured or equivalent).
• Knowledge of Front-end testing tools: Jasmine, Karma, Jest, Cypress, or equivalent.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Use or strong aptitude for development co-pilots and code generation tools.
• Ability to analyze, correct, optimize, and ensure the reliability of AI-generated code.
• Interest in improving development productivity and quality through these tools.
