Project overview
The context
Our client is an engineering company specializing in heavy handling and industrial lifting. It is developing a SaaS platform that automates the creation of technical lifting plans, which are still drawn by hand by engineers today.
The product combines three components: CAD automation, geometric algorithms, and artificial intelligence. The user describes an operation, an LLM interprets it, and then the software generates or modifies the plan.
The product already exists. You will take over the existing code, evolve it, and gradually become the technical point of contact.
Your missions
Stack
- Develop new features for automating lifting plans
- Integrate LLMs and AI agents into workflows: tool calling, structured outputs, business rules
- Design tools for analyzing, modifying, and generating DWG/DXF files
- Evolve the SaaS interface and functionalities
- Improve architecture, performance, and reliability
- Take over and maintain existing code
- Backend: Python, FastAPI
- Frontend: React, TypeScript, Vite
- AI: LLM via API (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI or equivalent), function calling, AI workflows
- CAD: DWG/DXF, 2D geometry
