Fullstack/DevOps Developer

Project overview

We are looking for a fullstack Java/ReactJS & DevOps developer for our client, an active player in the space sector.

Mission Objective:

As part of the modernization of hydrological and meteorological alert centers, our client is supporting the implementation of a Data Hub and data governance using the following digital transformation components:

Evolving the PF-ENV Web Interface, based on the internal ReactJS framework

Authentication and Authorization via Keycloak

GeoNetwork Catalog

Providing data manipulation services via standardized and interoperable APIs in the Data Hub

Making Notebooks available in a Jupyter Hub environment for scientists from authorities or humanitarian organizations for weather alerts

Producing thematic reports based on communities

Distributing data and alerts in CAP, WIS2.0 format or via a smartphone application.

Access to data for a weather TV channel.

The project is part of a 6-month study phase aimed at defining use cases, data, and services that will bring added value to the project. This initial phase will be followed by the development of an MVP and a first service.

Main Missions:

Develop expected functionalities (backend and frontend parts) according to priorities

Implement different levels of testing (unit, integration...)

Participate in the integration and deployment of components (developed or off-the-shelf), in coordination with the project's SRE

Take charge of the team's DevOps activities (Docker + Helm/K8S or Swarm) in coordination with the central DevOps team

Create and update technical documentation

Participate in the team's agile meetings (Scrum type)

Adhere to project-applicable rules (architecture, configuration management, quality, security...)

Analyze overall system performance (end-to-end) in case of detected problems

Deliverables:

Technical documentation under Confluence / SharePoint

Source code under Gitlab

Unit tests under Gitlab

Complete system deployed on various environments

Satisfaction of CLS stakeholders
