Job description

As a functional administrator, you will support users in working with the BIOS application. You will quickly learn the work processes and can advise on the use of the tool, provide instructions, or offer training. In your role as a functional administrator, you will be in frequent contact with users, making you uniquely capable of conveying user needs to the product owner. You will proactively provide an indication for prioritization. You will actively participate in drafting user stories.

Furthermore, you will perform chain and regression tests for releases and maintain contact with the technical administrators at our service provider. Your primary task will be with the BIOS application, which has recently gone live. The BIOS application feeds the Quadient application with data, which can be used to fill (50) templates. You will also manage these templates, adapt them according to user needs, and be able to create new templates within the framework offered by Quadient. Quadient is used in multiple teams and behind multiple applications. These templates also fall within your area of responsibility.

This requires a careful approach.

Background of the assignment

The BIOS application has recently been put into use, with Quadient linked to it. Both tools are still under full development, and their use is still relatively in its infancy. A strong administrator who can translate the technology for the users, and can support and guide them in its use, is essential for the acceptance of the system. In addition, the connection with CJIB is being prepared, which is a technically complex process. This challenge is tailor-made for you. This connection will ensure a more efficient way of working, fewer errors, and thus stimulate data quality.

Gradually, your focus will also shift to Quadient: not just the document generator behind BIOS, but a building block used by multiple applications within the organization. As you become more familiar with the environment, a larger part of your work will focus on Quadient in its full scope. You will work in various scrum teams, with fellow developers, functional and technical administrators, and under different product owners.

• at least three years of experience as a functional administrator, in traditional infrastructure as well as in containerized environments. At least two years of experience in coordinating with end-users to achieve
