Functional Support Risk PnL

Project overview

You will join the functional support team responsible for financial risk and PnL management applications used worldwide. You will assist users, handle functional incidents, and contribute to service continuity.

Your role

Functional support and incident management

· Provide support to users of Risk and PnL applications

· Qualify, analyze, and resolve incidents, considering their business impact

· Coordinate the resolution of technical incidents with relevant teams and inform users of their progress

Monitoring and service continuity

· Monitor applications and track batch processes to detect anomalies

· Ensure the restart of processes in case of failure, in coordination with the relevant teams

· Provide handover to "Follow-the-sun" teams by transmitting ongoing incidents, actions taken, and points of vigilance

Service quality and problem management

· Contribute to root cause analysis (RCA) of incidents and post-incident reviews (PIR)

· Track corrective actions to limit incident recurrence

· Produce daily reporting on application status, incidents, and processes

· Contribute to the continuous improvement of support and operational procedures

Application evolutions and technical projects

· Participate in application version upgrades and cloud migration projects

· Perform non-regression testing and contribute to business continuity plan (BCP) testing

· Write and maintain documentation and procedures necessary for application support and operation

Profile sought

Requirements

Skills:

· Good knowledge of banking finance businesses, particularly asset-liability management (ALM), treasury, financial risks, and PnL

· Good knowledge of incident, problem, and change management processes in production

· Understanding of inter-application flows, batch processes, and inter-application dependencies

· Knowledge of application acceptance testing, non-regression, and business continuity principles

Personal qualities:

· Service-oriented and ability to clearly explain incidents and their impacts to users

· Analytical mindset and rigor in investigations and action tracking

· Autonomy and ability to prioritize requests based on their business impact

· Team spirit and ability to provide effective handover in an international context
