Our client

Our client, specializing in the retail sector, is recruiting a Head of Accounts Payable.

Position and missions

Lead a team of 10 accountants within an "industrial" process.

Manage the invoice BACKLOG to ensure on-time payments according to LME deadlines

Manage the credit note BACKLOG to ensure collection of due receivables

Justify non-billed provisions (FNP)

Participate in monthly closings within deadlines

Manage supplier relations / Dispute resolution

Ensure the compliance and completeness of received documents (F/A): paper or EDI

Liaise with logistics/sales teams

Liaise with internal departments on supplier invoice dispute issues

Maintain fluid and regular communication with the purchasing center's controlling team

Manage the accounts payable team

Lead and motivate the Front Office accounting team

Ensure the development and skill enhancement of team members

Participate in training and, if necessary, recruitment for the team

Ensure continuous service improvement

Identify areas for process improvement

Manage the evolution of procedures in conjunction with various internal departments

Participate in the evolution of information systems

Profile sought

With a BTS in accounting-management, DCG, or equivalent qualification, you have similar experience, including team management.

You have solid accounting foundations.

With good listening skills, you are pedagogical and support your team members in achieving their objectives.

You are comfortable with the Office Pack and information systems; knowledge of SAP is a plus.

Your service orientation, interpersonal skills, ability to manage priorities, and managerial capabilities will enable you to succeed in this role.
