Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst

Description

We are looking for a Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to provide day-to-day technical support for end users in Scottsdale, Arizona. This Long-term Contract position focuses on resolving desktop and system issues, maintaining reliable Windows-based environments, and delivering responsive assistance through service desk operations. The ideal candidate brings strong troubleshooting ability, practical experience with Active Directory, and a customer-focused approach to technical support.

Responsibilities

Deliver front-line technical assistance for hardware, software, and operating system issues affecting end users.

Investigate and resolve incidents related to Microsoft Windows environments, including Windows 10 workstations.

Manage user account support tasks such as access updates, password resets, and directory-related requests within Active Directory.

Track, prioritize, and close support requests through the service desk ticketing process while maintaining accurate documentation.

Diagnose common desktop, peripheral, and connectivity problems and escalate more complex issues when needed.

Install, configure, and support desktop software and standard workplace technology to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Requirements

Experience providing help desk or desktop support in a detail-oriented IT environment.

Working knowledge of Active Directory for routine user administration tasks.

Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Windows, including Windows 10 systems.

Ability to perform structured troubleshooting for hardware, software, and basic system issues.

Familiarity with managing and updating service desk tickets in a support workflow.

Strong communication skills and a service-oriented approach when assisting end users.
