For our client, the Police, Harvey Nash is looking for an HR Advisor.

In consultation, Monday to Friday during office hours. Hybrid working is possible, 50% on-site and 50% at home.

• HBO (bachelor) work and thinking level
• Minimum 1-2 years of knowledge and experience in the broad HR field, preferably as an HR Advisor. You have extensive experience in a comparable advisory role within a large, complex organization.
• Experience within (national) government

Education level: HBO

You have a diploma at HBO level (bachelor's) or equivalent via EVC. Or you have at least two years of demonstrable experience at the required work and thinking level. This must be demonstrated with your CV, supplemented with an official job description, vacancy text, or other document clearly stating the required work and thinking level.

75 EUR all-in excluding VAT

The HR department consists of 11 HR advisors, one of whom is currently on long-term sick leave. We are looking for a replacement for this position. As an HR advisor, you will work with 1 other advisor for the Den Bosch district. You will oversee 4 teams. You will work 50% at one of the police stations and the other 50% from home. The activities of an HR advisor are mainly focused on the 'hard' side, such as organizational development.

Activities/tasks, responsibilities & objectives

You work independently, have one-on-one meetings with the team leader, and contribute to projects in HR areas within the unit, such as SPO, management roles, and capacity management.

You are the first point of contact and sparring partner for management, exploring the issues they face. Thanks to your excellent network within the HR organization, you can bring in the right expertise to resolve issues quickly and effectively. The HR organization is in full motion and will further strengthen HR services to operations in the coming period by working from the tasks within the unit in an integrated HR team with expertise from Learning and Development and Management Development. As an HR advisor, you are the generalist and connect the expertise.
