IAM Engineer

Project overview

My client is strengthening its identity and access management platform and needs a hands-on IAM Engineer to design, build and run it. This is a delivery role, not a slide-deck one.

Responsibilities

What you bring

• Build and operate IAM processes across the joiner, mover, leaver lifecycle
• Implement and integrate SSO, MFA and federation (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC)
• Manage roles, entitlements and access reviews, with a focus on least privilege
• Connect applications and directories (Active Directory, Entra ID, LDAP)
• Automate provisioning and recurring tasks with scripting (PowerShell, Python)
• Support audits and compliance requirements (ISO 27001, NIS2, DORA where relevant)
• Several years of hands-on IAM engineering experience
• Strong experience with at least one major IAM/IGA platform: SailPoint, Saviynt, One Identity, Okta, Microsoft Entra ID or similar
• Solid grasp of authentication protocols and directory services
• PAM exposure (CyberArk, Delinea, BeyondTrust) is a plus
• Fluent German and good English
