Do you know the IBM i environment and want to participate in the modernization of existing applications, while continuing to develop?

We are looking for an IBM i / RPG Freeform / SQL Developer to support one of our clients in the maintenance and modernization of its information system.

The objective: to evolve existing application components by relying on a more modern approach to IBM i development, particularly through service programs and reusable component libraries.

Your mission: maintain existing applications and contribute to their modernization

You will work on applications developed on IBM i, with a dual objective: ensure their proper functioning and participate in their evolution.

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

Your technical environment:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining application components in RPG Freeform and SQL.
• Evolving existing applications by contributing to a more modular design, particularly through service programs and component libraries.
• Analyzing business needs and collaborating with technical teams to propose suitable solutions.
• Diagnosing and correcting anomalies to maintain application reliability.
• Performing unit and integration tests to verify the quality of developments.
• Participating in code reviews and contributing to the application of good development practices.
• Documenting your achievements and monitoring the technical evolutions of the IBM i platform.
