Industrial Safety Advisor

Project overview

As an industrial safety advisor, you will largely independently handle consultation requests for the Environmental Safety team.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Assessing and advising on complex environmentally hazardous activities and UPD issues
• Executing the full advisory process: intake, analysis, drafting advice, and sharing risk information with the operational organization
• Drafting and delivering substantiated risk-oriented advice according to the VNOG format, within the agreed timeframe
• Aligning risk-oriented advice with direct colleagues
• Supporting colleagues as a sparring partner on subject-matter expertise regarding environmentally hazardous activities
• Completed education at a minimum HBO bachelor level
• Demonstrable minimum of 5 years of work experience within the field
• Some work experience gained at a safety region
• In the past 5 years, at least 2 years of experience advising on industrial safety within a government agency
• Knowledge of standards and laws and regulations within the field
• Experience with and knowledge of environmental services
• Flexible availability, including on-call and on-site in Apeldoorn
• Customer-friendly, independent, and results-oriented attitude
• Coaching skills and team orientation
