ACTIVE SC CLEARANCE IS NEEDED
An experienced Infrastructure Backup and Storage Analyst is required to manage and support enterprise backup, recovery and storage infrastructure.
You will maintain data protection, storage performance and disaster recovery readiness for business-critical systems, ensuring services meet agreed availability and security requirements. Additional office attendance may be required for ad hoc requests.

- Manage and support Veritas NetBackup, including backup configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Resolve backup failures and ensure scheduled backups complete within agreed service levels.
- Maintain backup policies, schedules, retention requirements and tape rotation.
- Perform backup validation, restoration drills and disaster recovery testing.
- Administer SAN and NAS environments, provisioning storage for Servers and applications.
- Monitor storage capacity, utilisation and performance, supporting expansion, migration and optimisation.
- Provide L2/L3 support for incidents, service requests and escalations, including root cause analysis.
- Apply encryption, access controls and security standards across backup and storage services.
- Maintain configuration documents, operational procedures, asset inventories and service reports.
- Support business continuity initiatives and recovery time and recovery point objectives (RTO/RPO).
- Hands-on experience supporting enterprise backup and storage infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of Veritas NetBackup and HPE StoreOnce.
- Experience with Dell EMC PowerMax 2000 and 8000 storage platforms.
- Practical experience administering SAN and NAS environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across backup, restore and storage operations.
- Experience providing L2/L3 technical support and managing escalations.
- Understanding of disaster recovery planning, recovery testing and RTO/RPO requirements.
- Knowledge of backup security, encryption, access controls and compliance requirements.
- Experience producing build and configuration documentation for storage and backup platforms.
- Enterprise data centre environments.
- VMware and Hyper-V infrastructure.
- Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Backup automation and monitoring tools.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
