Requirements

We are looking for a socially driven, analytical, and hands-on innovation professional who can independently structure an uncertain issue and bring it from societal friction to a tested and feasible project.

Work Experience:

Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably 5-8 years, including at least 3 years of demonstrable experience in independently navigating multiple innovation phases.

The Candidate:

Has a higher professional education/university work and thinking level, preferably with a background in innovation, industrial design, service design, business design, or a similar field;

Has experience with design thinking and experiment-driven work;

Can independently design, conduct, and analyze exploratory user research;

Can translate societal insights into new project and proposition concepts;

Can identify critical assumptions and translate them into efficient experiments;

Combines qualitative research with quantitative validation;

Can realize or effectively organize experiments and simple prototypes independently;

Can translate a PoC into a practically feasible pilot;

Possesses sufficient project management skills to set up a pilot with multiple parties;

Can convince stakeholders and create support, without formal mandate or hierarchical position;

Can translate research results into clear choices and decision-ready advice;

Has an affinity for societal issues and collaboration with members, volunteers, and social partners.

The organization, as a major societal association, is committed not only to its members but also to social impact. Within Impact Meedoen, we develop and realize social initiatives around themes such as affordable mobility, energy, traffic safety, and social participation through association strength. The Social Innovation team is the place where new social projects originate. We are looking for an innovation consultant who can help accelerate this on an interim basis.

Department Description

The Social Innovation team within the organization develops new social projects that make a difference for members and society. We focus on four themes: affordable mobility, energy, traffic safety, and social participation through association strength. We investigate societal friction, develop new solutions together with target groups, and test them step-by-step through explorations, Proofs of Concept, and pilots. In this way, we bring promising ideas from initial insight to proven social projects with the potential to scale.

Role

The organization is looking for an experienced, hands-on Innovation Consultant who develops new social projects from the initial exploration through to a validated proof of concept and pilot. The consultant investigates societal friction and needs among members and target groups, identifies promising solution directions, and translates them into concrete social project concepts. Subsequently, critical assumptions are tested using user research, prototypes, and experiments.

With sufficient evidence, the consultant develops and organizes a pilot with internal and external partners and formulates well-founded advice on adaptation, implementation, scaling, transfer, or termination.

We are looking for someone with approximately 5-8 years of relevant experience who can independently and hands-on combine research, design, validation, and project development.
