Project overview
A local authority client of g2 Recruitment based in Yorkshire are currently on the lookout for an Interim Financial Planning & Reporting Manager to join their team.
Job Role: Interim Financial Planning & Reporting Manager
Requirements
- Must be a fully qualified Accountant with knowledge of CIPFA code of practice.
- Must have signinficant local authority experience.
- Must have experience working at a senior level managing teams within finance.
- Must have experience within corporate finance, able to oversee across all 5 areas (closedown, treasury, financial planning, capital/assets, strategic revenues).

Main duties:
- Will have 5 direct reports and oversee a team of 15 staff members within corporate finance.
- The 5 core areas/teams overseen are: Closedown, Treasury, Financial Planning, Capital/Assets, Strategic Revenues.
- Will also need to oversee collection funds.
- This role will be very much overseeing the team, timetables and collating all together along with helping through audit.
