International ERP Project Director

Project overview

We are looking for an International ERP Project Director / Data Migration & Integration Expert to work with one of our banking clients as part of a large-scale ERP transformation program, within an international multi-country and multi-entity environment.

You will be involved in strategic IT system transformation projects, managing the various phases of the program, from the design of the target architecture to the deployment of ERP solutions.

You will be responsible for coordinating international teams, data migration, application integration, and securing production deployments.

Profile Sought:

We are looking for an experienced International ERP Project Director, with a Master's degree (engineering school, university, or business school), possessing at least 15 years of experience in managing international ERP projects.

You have participated in several large-scale ERP transformation programs in complex environments involving multiple countries, entities, and stakeholders.

You have solid expertise in data migration, application integration, and ERP project coordination, with a good understanding of technical and functional architecture challenges.

You are capable of intervening throughout the transformation cycle, from target architecture design to deployment, including data migration, testing, go-live, and solution stabilization.

Good knowledge of Finance, Accounting, and Management Control processes, as well as experience in harmonizing business processes internationally, would be particularly appreciated.

Autonomous, rigorous, and with excellent communication and management skills, you can unite multidisciplinary teams, coordinate international stakeholders, and secure critical transformation program steps.

Your ability to take a step back, anticipate risks, and operate in complex environments will be essential to ensure project success.

• Participate in defining the target application and technical architecture.
• Ensure the consistency of solutions with architectural, security, and operational constraints.
• Collaborate with local and international business and IT teams.
• Coordinate IT, business, integrator, and partner teams in the various countries concerned.
• Monitor dependencies, communicate between stakeholders, and coordinate the program's various workstreams.
• Participate in governance bodies and provide reporting to stakeholders.
• Define and manage data migration strategies within the framework of ERP transformations.
• Oversee data cleansing, mapping, migration, and validation work.
• Coordinate the design and implementation of interfaces with peripheral applications.
• Ensure the quality, integrity, and traceability of migrated data.
• Prepare and secure cutover plans and rollback procedures.
• Define and manage the international testing strategy.
• Oversee unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) campaigns.
• Manage deployment phases and validate Go/No Go criteria.
• Support production deployments and oversee hypercare phases.
• Organize the transition to application support teams and ensure operational continuity.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale international ERP transformation programs.
• Proficiency in at least one major market ERP: Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion Cloud, Infor, or equivalent.
• Expertise in defining and managing data migration strategies.
• Solid experience in data cleansing, mapping, migration, and validation processes.
• Proficiency in application integration, interface, and inter-application flow issues.
• Good understanding of complex application and technical architectures.
• Experience in managing international integrators, suppliers, and partners.
• Ability to coordinate IT and business teams in multi-country and multi-entity environments.
• Experience in defining and managing testing strategies (unit, integration, UAT).
• Proficiency in cutover, rollback, Go/No Go, and hypercare processes.
• Experience in ERP program governance and monitoring dependencies between different workstreams.
• Good knowledge of Finance, Accounting, and Management Control processes is appreciated.
• Experience in standardizing and harmonizing business processes is an asset.
• Fluent English is mandatory, in an international collaboration context.
