iOS Engineer (Swift and SwiftUI) - 12-Month Contract - London/Bristol - Inside IR35

Our client, a leading IT consultancy, is looking for an iOS Engineer to join a consumer servicing and engagement programme. You will design, build and maintain secure, production-ready iOS applications, working closely with product owners, designers and Back End engineers. This is a 12-month contract, Inside IR35, based in London or Bristol.

Contract Details

• Design, develop and maintain mobile applications for the iOS ecosystem
• Implement modern UI using SwiftUI and UIKit, working closely with product teams
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services into secure, high-performing applications
• Build, test, debug and deploy apps across iOS versions and Apple devices, optimising performance and memory use
• Contribute to code quality standards, code reviews and reusable component libraries
• Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C, with proven experience building and releasing iOS apps
• Expertise with Xcode, UIKit and SwiftUI, and solid knowledge of Core Data, Core Animation, Core Location and AVFoundation
• Solid grounding in MVC, MVVM, VIPER or Clean Architecture, with push notifications, background tasks and app life cycle management
• Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab and unit and UI testing (XCTest, XCUITest), working in an Agile/Scrum team
• Desirable: CI/CD exposure (Jenkins, Bitrise or GitHub Actions)
• Duration: 12 months
• Day Rate: Negotiable
