IT Architect

Project overview

The IT Architect supports the Enterprise Architect in the further development of the architecture function within the CIO Office.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Supporting the setup of the architecture function and the development of architecture governance
• Drawing up architecture principles and developing standards and frameworks
• Advising on decision-making processes within I-governance
• Positioning and strengthening architecture within the organization
• Performing architecture analyses and impact analyses
• Developing solution directions and developing scenarios
• Contributing to the development of a roadmap
• Writing advisory reports and supporting decision-making
• Organizing and attending workshops
• Strengthening collaboration between strategic and operational architecture functions
• Preferably certified as TOGAF/ArchiMate Practitioner or Open CA
• Familiarity with TOGAF, NORA and architectures within the government
• Strong substantive knowledge and advisory skills
• Minimum 10 years of experience as IT (Lead) Architect
• Minimum 4 years of experience in professionalizing architecture within a CIO organization
• Minimum 4 years of experience in digital transformation and large-scale transitions
• Experience with agile working and within the government or comparable organizations (desirable)
