• Oversee and directly manage a broad portfolio of technology services, including cloud-based SaaS and IaaS solutions (Microsoft Azure), enterprise business systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central), data and reporting platforms (Microsoft Fabric and Power BI), and Azure DevOps environments.
• Collaborate with strategic IT partners and third-party providers to ensure the effective delivery and ongoing management of infrastructure, end-user computing, networking services, enterprise applications, and digital platforms.
• Ensure the delivery of responsive, high-quality technical support services that enable employees to work effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain and continuously improve service performance, ensuring agreed service levels are achieved across all technology platforms and services.
• Lead, inspire and develop the Systems team, fostering a high-performing culture built on collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Manage team workload, resource allocation, skills development and performance management processes to ensure operational effectiveness and professional growth.
• Provide leadership and governance for technology projects and business change initiatives, ensuring successful delivery against organisational objectives.
• Work closely with operational stakeholders and specialist IT partners to implement and maintain effective cybersecurity controls, risk management frameworks and data protection measures.
• Oversee the monitoring of technology environments for security threats and vulnerabilities, coordinating incident response and remediation activities where required.
• Develop and manage strong relationships with technology suppliers and service providers, ensuring value, performance and alignment with business needs.
• Take responsibility for the planning, management and optimisation of delegated technology budgets, ensuring effective investment in technology services and solutions. (Future responsibility)
• Contribute to the development and execution of the organisation's technology strategy, ensuring alignment with wider business goals and priorities.
• Identify opportunities to enhance business performance through technology innovation, digital transformation and emerging technology trends, supporting long-term organisational growth.
• Broad technical skills to provide leadership for problem resolution
