Project overview
Contract IT/OT architect for a pharma/biopharma environment in Germany, providing architecture consultancy to an Agile Release Train (ART) and documenting architecture decisions across the IT/OT stack. The role leads specification sessions for data flows/pipelines/interfaces, produces solution and requirements lifecycle design documents, develops and maintains data architecture and “DataOne” landscape designs, and consolidates the ART architecture backlog aligned to global strategy.
Requires strong Business–IT–OT collaboration, multi-supplier coordination, and availability for mandatory on-site qualification, configuration, and testing activities; Roche qualification-process knowledge is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- 2 Lead specification sessions for data flows, data pipelines and interfaces.
- 3 Produce solution and requirements-lifecycle design documents.
- 4 Develop and maintain data architecture and DataOne landscape designs.
- 5 Consolidate the ART architecture backlog and align designs with global architectural strategy.
- 6 Represent the ART in global architecture and technology working groups.
- 7 Provide supplier-independent advisory across the multi-vendor automation ecosystem.
Requirements
- Pharma/biopharma industry experience
- GMP/non-GMP awareness (regulated environment)
- IT/OT architecture across the IT/OT stack
- Data architecture (data flows, pipelines, interfaces)
- Solution architecture documentation (architecture decisions, design documents)
- Requirements lifecycle / solution design documentation
- Leading specification sessions/workshops for interfaces and data flows
- Business-IT-OT collaboration and stakeholder alignment
- Multi-supplier / multi-vendor coordination
- Supplier-independent advisory in automation/OT ecosystem
- Architecture backlog consolidation and alignment to global architecture strategy
- Availability for on-site qualification, configuration, and testing activities
